Confidence wasn't me at all. I used to be an introvert and shy person and I thought I couldn't cope with new environments.
Sometimes, I felt like there was a huge knot in my stomach whenever I had to meet new people. I also used to go over the top to be more confident and in the end it was useless.
However, one thing had changed me and made me more confident. It was my new friends in high school. They were such good friends that they helped me tackle things which made me not confident. They told me that I didn't have to be perfect to be confident because people won't judge you because of your perfectness. They will look at you because of who you are and not because of your appearance even though some people think like that.
I agonised about what they said and tried to change. I became more confident and it's probable that more people realised it too.
Despite the shaky feeling in new environments, I can do everything better because of confidence. I can speak out what I think and feel more satisfied than I used to be. Trust me, it helps no end if you can be more confident because noone will look down on you.
actualy I was a shy person. until one day I was chosen as the class captain. I know it would be difficult because I knew exactly my exact ability. I tried to refuse that position but everybody wanted me to be the class captain. The class captain needs to be able to speak up in front of people and run the class well, but i didn't have it in me. Everytime I spoke in front of people I always shook like a leaf. I was sure i couldn't cope with it. It was realy agonising to get the gut to speak in front of people. Then, i found a theory that really helped me to develop my bravery. It was "always know exactly what the topic is and who they are." for once i went over the top and some of them began to hate me. It's probable that it happened because of my attitude. Then i tried to change it. It helps no end if you ask the people who you lead for some advice.
